Great saftey feature

I think this flex coupler in all the older tools like my 395 and my 396 is a great saftey feature, it wears out so you replace it.
( the tyres on your car wear out so you replace them.
Got to love my Dremels, I'm just about to buy a new digital 400 ,(can't wait.)

If you're reading this, then probably you are in the same trouble as all those who've owned a 396. Either the coupling breaks in two or crumples totally. I'm sure Dremel can manufacture one in a better composite material than the one they are selling us but they didn't for the simple reason that they are milking all of us who patronized their product/s, how sad can that be?
